Information the app handles

Paranoiq stores information you create in the app so it can provide your checklists, history, widget status, and Photo Check features.

Checklist content

This includes places, place names, icons, colors, action names, action icons, action order, required-action settings, and whether an action requires a Photo Check.

Completion history

When you complete a place, Paranoiq can store a history entry that includes the place name, icon, color, completion date, completed count, total action count, and completed action records.

History retention

Paranoiq lets you choose how long completion history is kept, from 3 days up to 1 year. The app does not keep completion history longer than 1 year. When expired history is removed, related local completion photos are removed when possible.

Photo Checks

If you choose to take a Photo Check, the app uses camera access to capture that photo for the related checklist action. Photo confirmations are optional at the app level, although you can configure individual actions to require a Photo Check before they can be completed.

Settings and statistics

Paranoiq may store app settings and usage counters such as first launch date, total places completed, total actions completed, total photos taken, onboarding state, rating prompt state, and cached PRO access state.

Widget data

If you use the Home Screen widget, the app shares a limited local data file with the widget so it can show selected or recent place information, completion status, action counts, and recent completion timing.

Purchases and subscriptions

Paranoiq uses StoreKit, App Store purchase flows, and RevenueCat to provide subscriptions, lifetime purchases, purchase status, purchase restoration, entitlement status, and paywall offerings.

App events and advertising attribution

Paranoiq uses the Meta SDK, also known as the Facebook SDK, for app event measurement, ads attribution, and campaign performance. The SDK may send Meta limited app event and technical information, such as app launch or activation events, event timing, app and device information, and similar measurement data. Paranoiq does not intentionally send your checklist text, Photo Check photos, place names, action names, notes, completion history content, or support email content to Meta.

Paranoiq may request App Tracking Transparency permission so the app can measure ad performance and improve Paranoiq. If you allow tracking, identifiers may be used for tracking across apps and websites for advertising attribution and campaign performance measurement. You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings.

Paranoiq logs app funnel events such as onboarding completed, first place created, place created, Photo Check added, place completed, History opened, paywall viewed, and purchase completed. Event parameters use grouped counts or ranges, such as action count buckets, Photo Check count buckets, history count buckets, ratio buckets, PRO status, and execution mode. Product analytics events do not include Place names, Action names, photos, or user-entered checklist content.

Support email

If you contact support by email, the email may include your email address and any information you choose to send. Support email is handled through your configured mail app.

How information is stored and synced

Checklist data and text-only completion history are stored using Apple storage technologies on your device. When iCloud is available, places, actions, history entries, and text-only completed-action records may sync through Apple CloudKit under your Apple account.

Completion photo files are stored locally on the current device in app storage that is excluded from device backup. New completion photos are not uploaded to Paranoiq servers and are not intentionally stored in CloudKit by Paranoiq.

App statistics and status values may sync through Apple's iCloud key-value store. Widget data is stored locally in an App Group container so the widget can display app-owned checklist status.

How the app uses information

Paranoiq uses app data to:

• Show and manage your places, checklists, and actions.
• Complete checklist actions and save completion history.
• Capture and display optional Photo Checks.
• Provide widget status and deep links back into the app.
• Sync supported app data through Apple services when available.
• Manage PRO access, trials, subscriptions, lifetime purchases, and restore purchases.
• Measure limited app events, ads attribution, and campaign performance through Meta technologies.
• Understand website visits and page usage through Google Analytics.
• Respond to support, privacy, or feedback emails you send.

Third-party services and Apple services

Paranoiq uses Apple services and frameworks including:

• Camera permission and camera capture.
• SwiftData, CloudKit, iCloud key-value store, and App Groups.
• WidgetKit, StoreKit, App Store purchases, and app review prompt APIs.
• Mail composition through the mail account configured on your device.

Paranoiq uses RevenueCat for subscription offerings, purchase status, customer information from the App Store purchase flow, entitlement status, and purchase restoration. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information according to its own privacy practices. You can learn more at RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Paranoiq uses Meta App Events and Aggregated Event Measurement from the Meta SDK, also known as the Facebook SDK, for app event measurement, ads attribution, and campaign performance. Paranoiq does not use this measurement to send Photo Check images, checklist contents, place names, action names, notes, or personal check details to Meta. Meta may process limited app event and technical information according to its own terms and privacy practices, including to provide app usage, advertising attribution, and advertising effectiveness insights. The Paranoiq website uses Google Analytics only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner (or later via Cookie settings). Until you accept, Google Analytics scripts are not loaded, analytics cookies are not set, and custom website analytics events are not sent. After you accept, analytics may include visits, page views, scrolls, section engagement, FAQ opens, language switches, install-banner interactions, App Store clicks, and outbound link clicks (for example support email and social profiles). Google Analytics may then process website usage, browser, device, referrer, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifier information according to Google's privacy practices. The website tag is configured without Google Signals or ad personalization signals, and advertising-related consent remains denied. You can learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.

The website stores a first-party consent cookie (cc_cookie) to remember your choice for about six months. If you later reject analytics, Google Analytics cookies are cleared. Necessary site functions (for example remembering that you dismissed the iOS install banner) may use local browser storage and do not require analytics consent.

What the current app does not use

Based on the current app implementation, Paranoiq does not include a custom backend account system, third-party ad display SDK, location tracking, contacts access, microphone access, or photo library import/export permission.

Your choices

• You can grant or deny camera permission in iOS Settings.
• You can choose which actions require Photo Checks.
• You can edit or delete places and actions in the app.
• You can clear completion history where the app provides that control.
• You can manage iCloud availability through your Apple account and device settings.
• You can manage subscriptions and purchases through your Apple account and App Store settings.
• You can manage Apple privacy and tracking settings through iOS Settings.
• On the website, you can accept or reject analytics cookies in the cookie banner, or reopen Cookie settings anytime from the footer.
• You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Children's privacy

Paranoiq is not intended to be directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support email, contact us so we can review the request.
